Fueling SME Growth Through Global Collaboration

Fueling SME Growth Through Global Collaboration

As Nepal’s SMEs strive to scale, expanding not just their operations but also their vision becomes crucial. From May 5 to May 9, three NIIC 2 Fund companies - Karma Coffee, GJ Poultry, and Khaanpin, participated in a dynamic week of collaboration with students from the London Business School (LBS) as part of its Global Experience Project.

The initiative brought together international business minds and local entrepreneurs to explore new ways of thinking about growth, strategy, and innovation. Over the course of five days, these companies engaged deeply on topics like business expansion, financial forecasting, market entry, and pricing- all through the lens of a global academic perspective. Discussions challenged existing models, surfaced fresh insights, and introduced new tools to help these businesses navigate the next phase of growth.

This collaboration is part of NIIC 2 Fund’s broader effort to combine capital with capacity building, global exposure, and entrepreneurial learning. By connecting Nepal’s high-potential businesses with international institutions like London Business School, we help create space for reflection, ambition, and strategic growth.

We extend our sincere thanks to the LBS students and faculty for their thoughtful engagement, and to the companies for embracing the opportunity with openness and curiosity.
