Bridging the gap between Nepal's technology sector and traditional financial institutions requires dialogue and understanding at the operational level. Through NIIC 2's partnership initiatives, One to Watch continues to facilitate connections between tech companies and banking institutions.

Nabil Bank Branch Manager Orientation

On March 20th, 2026, One to Watch conducted a Branch Manager Orientation session for Nabil Bank, bringing together approximately 11 branch managers from Kathmandu. The session provided an overview of NIIC 2's work with tech and tech-enabled companies and explored how these businesses interact with financial institutions.

Discussions covered topics including the operational characteristics of technology companies, common challenges in accessing finance, and considerations around documentation and assessment. Branch managers engaged in dialogue about their experiences and perspectives on serving this sector.

The session represented part of NIIC 2's ongoing engagement with partner financial institutions to build understanding and facilitate connections within Nepal's tech ecosystem.
